Smokey the Blind Horse Competing in a Trail Challenge
I like to write about obstacle course info on Tuesdays, so I wanted to post this video about an amazing horse and rider team who's video I stumbled across the other day. This horse Smokey is totally blind in both eyes, yet he trusts his rider enough to compete in a trail competition. This trail course is set up totally indoors up in Oregon. Challenging to even a sighted horse, Smokey makes his way through this course quite well with the guidance of his owner Angie Egberg. Watch, enjoy, and be impressed...
