Trail Notes:
This trail is heavily used by equestrians because Valley Mount Ranch and Kraus Farms are both right there. A lot of trail rehab is being done here, making it an all weather trail. What has been finished is GREAT. Signage is very well done here. The brown trail runs along the south side of the area through a field. This trail could get very hot. The Red Triangle trail is mostly in the woods and at one point runs right along side of I-44. One spot looks up to the highway and the other looks down to the highway. It gets very noisy here, and you can see car movement through the trees. The yellow trail gets very, very hilly at times. There is a creek crossing here and there, but nothing too hard. There is also a shooting range at the far end of the Conservation Area so you can also hear gunfire while on some of the trails.
