Sugar Creek Conservation Area Trail

News, Updates, & Warning:
Closed during fall firearm deer & spring turkey seasons.

Directions:
Lot A:  From Kirksville, take Hwy 63 south to Hwy 11, turn west.  Follow Hwy 11 to Hwy N, turn south.  This trailhead is less than a mile down Hwy N on the right side.  Camping is allowed at this lot.

Miles of Trails:
10 miles in multiple loops.

Equestrian Camping:
Yes, allowed at Parking Lot A.

Trail Notes:
Mostly forested.  Could be considered a triple loop trail if you ride along the roads that cross the trail. One of the roads however, is a highway.  The trail is hilly, crosses water in several places, has a lot of downfall to negotiate, and a couple of road crossings, including a two lane highway.

Other Trail Users:
Hikers, mountain bike riders, and hunters.
