Location:

News, Updates, & Warnings:
Horseback riding here only by Special Use Permit.  To get a permit, call the number above.
Open during hunting seasons so please use caution.

Directions:
From Eminence, take Hwy 106 east to the area entrance on the right.  There is a sign.  There are a few other roads that lead into the area, but this is the most obvious and easy to see, plus it takes you in on Forest Road 1.

Miles of Roads:
76 miles of MDC public roads and 9 miles of MDC service roads.

Equestrian Camping:
Not allowed.

Trail Notes:
This is all gravel road riding, so there are very little hazards to worry about.  Traffic, which there would be very little of, is about the only hazard.  There are also archery and shooting ranges within the area.  This would be a good alternative place to ride during yellow jacket season.  Do not ride past any closed gates. You can dismount, tie your horse and walk in, but no cars or horses are allowed past closed gates.

Other Trail Users:
Hikers, mountain bike riders, and hunters.

Volunteers Helping With This Page:
