Directions:
From Springfield, take I-44 north to Hwy B, exit #96 at Northview. Go south on Hwy B to Compton Hollow Road. Turn left. Follow road to the parking lot on the left.

Trail Notes:
This trail is basically like a small gravel road for part of it, the other is wide and well cleared and very easy to follow. The terrain's not too steep in any area. There are creeks to cross, but no other apparent hazards. There is an archery range by the second trailhead lot.
