News, Updates, & Warnings:
Closed from fall firearms turkey season through the end of spring firearms turkey season.

Directions: 

From St. Louis, take I-70 west to the Jonesburg exit, Hwy Y.  Turn southwest on Hwy Y and drive to Tower Road.  (Hwy Y makes a right turn in town, and then a left turn to cross the railroad tracks outside of town).  Tower Road is right by Oak Grove Church.  Turn left.  Drive to Forest Road 1220.  Turn right.  Trailhead parking is ahead on the right.

Miles of Trails:
8 mile loop, plus 3 miles of gravel road.
  
Equestrian Camping:
Yes, at the trailhead parking lot.

Trail Notes:
Trails are marked with yellow equestrian signs.  It goes through a variety of terrain.  Parts of the trail cross steep terrain and have erosion control berms in place.  Please avoid damage to these berms while riding.  The trail also crosses the gravel road and small creeks a few times, but other than downfall to negotiate, no other real hazards.
