Charlie Heath Conservation Area Trail

News, Updates, & Warnings:
Closed to horseback riding during the major hunting seasons.

Directions:
From Hannibal, take Hwy 61 north to Hwy 136, turn west.  Drive to Hwy 81, turn north.  from Kahoka, take Hwy 81 north to Hwy NN, turn west.  Follow Hwy NN to Hwy K, turn north.  Drive to the gravel road on the right.  It's in the bend of the road.  Follow the road until it dead ends at the trailhead.

Miles of Trails:
5 mile loop.

Equestrian Camping:
Not Allowed.

Trail Notes: 
The area can only be ridden after getting a special use permit.  The trail goes through mostly gently rolling timberland, although you will travel through two open areas.  There are several creek crossings, you'll have to negotiate various downfall, but other than that, no apparent hazards.

Hiker and hunters.
