News, Updates, & Warnings:
Closed during fall firearms deer and spring turkey seasons.

Directions:
Horse Camp Trailhead:  From Kirksville, take Hwy 6 east to Hwy E in Knox City, turn south.  Follow Hwy E to the trailhead lot drive.  It's in the middle of a curve.  There's a sign pointing the way.

Miles of Trails:
7.5 mile loop.

Equestrian Camping:
Yes, at the Equestrian Campground off of Hwy E.
There are 6 campsites.

Trail Notes:
The trail basically flat and easy, goes through fields, woods, and follows a gravel road to make a full loop.  Creeks to cross, and cars possibly passing you on the gravel road are the only apparent hazards.

Other Trail Users:
Hikers, bike riders, and hunters.
