Flag Spring Conservation Area Trails

News, Updates, & Warnings:
Open to hunters during hunting seasons

Directions:
From Joplin, take Hwy 71 south for about 41 miles to Hwy 90, turn east.  Follow Hwy 90 for 23 miles to Hwy UU.  Turn northwest on Hwy UU and go 1.6 miles to the first public gravel road and turn left.  A Flag Spring Conservation Area Sign is there to help you find it.  There are 3 good equestrian trailheads in the first 3 miles of that road.

11.30 miles.

Equestrian Camping:
Not allowed.

Trail Notes:
Trails are marked with yellow "Horse/Bike" trail signs.
This area is not difficult to ride, due to the fact that they are mostly all old forest gravel roads, but there are some steep hills to climb.  

Other Trail Users:
Hikers, mountain bike riders, and hunters.
