News, Updates, & Warnings:
Closed during fall firearms deer season & spring firearms turkey season

Directions:
From Kirksville, take Hwy 6 east Hwy H, turn north.  Follow Hwy H north until it turns into Hwy Y in Midway.  Continue north on Hwy Y until you come to County Road 312, (Cottonwood Ave.) Follow County Road 312 to the trailhead and equestrian campground.

Miles of Trails
10.5 mile loop.

Equestrian Camping:
Yes, at campground 8.

Trail Notes:
Trail is forested with some hills, creeks and downfall to negotiate.  It crosses, as well as follows some gravel roads so you may encounter cars.  Trails can get overgrown with tall grass in the summer and the deerflies get really bad at the end of May

Hikers, mountain bike riders, and hunters.
