Trail Notes:
Trail corridor is generally easy to follow, but in some areas that were logged a few years ago the trail can be hard to find.  There are also some areas with storm damage from the storms in 2008 & 2009.  There are several steep, rocky hills were rattlesnakes and copperheads could be found.  There are several creeks to cross and a dangerous tall drop-off over the Shut-ins area at Crane Lake.  The portion of the trail that runs on the east side of the lake has some very technically rocky sections that really aren't very suitable for horses.

Other Trail Users:
Hikers, mountain bike riders, and hunters.
