Directions:
Hwy DD Trailhead: From Caledonia, travel south on Hwy 21 to Hwy 32. Turn west on Hwy 32 and follow until you come to Hwy DD. Turn north on Hwy DD and trailhead will be almost immediately on the right.

23 miles linear trail, plus connection to the Trace Creek section and Karkaghne Section

Trail is marked with white diamonds and the trail corridor is generally well traveled and easy to follow. There are several creek crossings that are prone to flooding, so use caution in periods of and following heavy rains. Several sections of the trail become quite muddy. There are several steep sections, switchbacks, and it is rocky in some areas. Equestrian users are required to use a gravel road to bypass the sensitive Barton Fen area. The trail also crosses paved Hwys, so be alert for fast traffic at these crossings.
